“WORK, SAVE, TRAVEL, REPEAT”…
To know about me, you must first know this saying. This is my favourite saying and it couldn’t be more true. Another saying I am quite fond of is “Travel, because money returns, time doesn’t” which is at the top of my Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/girlonthemove17/. These are very true and life is for living, which is what I intend to do.
In 2017 I started planning a trip to certain countries that I wanted to see and learn about in the world, and in 2018 I started my savings and booking the trip. In January 2019 I set off on my travels that lead me to starting this blog. I feel I’ve learnt so much this year that I wanted to blog it all down so other people can learn from my adventures, the good, the bad, the findings, the mistakes and everything in between. I kept a journal of it all which has details of every day in it, hotels, budgets, activities etc.
I have always loved travelling from as far back as I can remember, whether it be a trip in the car around my beautiful country of Ireland or on a plane to another country to explore new cultures or just to lie by the pool or beach and enjoy the sun.
To anyone who stumbles across my blog and decides to read it, I hope you get out of it what I have set out to do, and that is to show anyone who wants to travel that they can do it no matter what their budget is. Travelling doesn’t necessarily mean leaving your town or county or country, it’s all about getting up and out and exploring to see what you might learn or find.
